Archival and Digitization
I archive your photographic media in a manner that impedes fading and deterioration. The photos (slides, negatives) are then scanned at high resolution, edited, and saved on two separate hard drives. Your digital images may be delivered to you through whichever means best suits your needs, i.e. an external hard drive, CDs/DVDs or flash drives. Your original photographic media is returned to you in neatly organized, archivally-sound photo albums.
Photo Management
I create a database of all materials archived and provide the client with an index, which is searchable. This way, the client can search for specific photos within their collection, by date or, if applicable, name.
Experience
I have over 5 years experience in digital archiving and 15 years experience in photography (10+ years in digital photography). I have worked with an array of clients and subject matter, from photographic slides, negatives and prints, to documents and books.
Original Photographic Work
I also offer photographic services. Do you have a collection of valuables (i.e. jewelry, Limoges boxes, snuff bottles or stamps) that you need to document for tax or legal purposes? I have the studio equipment necessary to professionally and elegantly photograph your collection.
